Tabs
Blog
12th May 2019
There are now tabs along the bottom of the menu, when you're selecting a game, to let you quickly switch between the various sections of the site.
The icons are reused as tabs, and are drawn with their bottoms chopped off, so they look better on the screen, and don't take up a giant chunk from the bottom of the menu. For the most-part, I've tried to make this part of the code easily tweakable, so that in future I can add extra sections. However, it might get a bit cramped if ... Views 227, Upvotes 14

Keep On Coding!

Carrying on through my current flu symptoms, and I managed to get the last remaining "classic" tiles working in JNKPlat.
Those lovely exploding tiles, and pushable TNT block, along with the keys and gates, and an inventory for them, too. Views 84, Upvotes 15

27th August 2018
Yesterday was quite a productive day, but one that needed a whole boatload of tweaks just to get the pushable blocks to work correctly.
Exactly half of the intended "original" tiles are currently functional. Views 87, Upvotes 10

Back to Plat?
Blog
25th August 2018
I had a nice day off, yesterday, playing with the Logo generator.
There's still a few other things I'd like to add, like gradients and possibly borders, outlines, embossing, and that sort of thing. But for now I think I should probably head back to JNKPlat. Views 71, Upvotes 11

13th August 2018
Although August 13th isn't a significant date in my health matters, it is the date that I wrote this rather lengthy blog post, back in 2012.
It's now become a bit of a tradition for me to post an annual update on this date. Other Jiggity Posts The posts are given the title "Jiggity", because my original post was titled "Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig"! Views 662, Upvotes 37

Snake - 40%
Blog
26th July 2018
Not a huge amount of progress on the Snake game, since yesterday, or at least nothing major.
Today I need to start thinking about adding audio into the game. Blips and Bleeps would appear to be the most logical way to go, so I'll be using bsfxr as I usually tend to do. Views 56, Upvotes 11

A Relaxed Pace
Blog
24th July 2018
It's been a long long time since I did a bog standard Snake clone, and yesterday's code session reminded me of just how utterly simplistic a snake clone can be.
Today I'll be making the tail follow the player, as it currently doesn't clear out as it goes, making things much harder for the player. Once that works, I'll be adding more tail-pieces as the player eats more, and then coming up with a soundtrack that matches the presentation of the game. Views 62, Upvotes 15

With so many games to play, there's oodles of feedback for each.
Let's see what RSKGames thought of this week's game! @RSKGamesOverview: A fast paced circular bullet hell game. I liked it better than the ''Orbital Projections'' and ''The Trouble with Vents'' which till day I can never play properly. Views 150, Upvotes 22

Closing In
Blog
23rd June 2018
Getting close to the finishing line.
Tomorrow I need to think up a name, add some sounds, do the screenshots and icons and whatnot, and then we're ready for compiling. First, however, I might see if I can make the levels a "little" bit harder. There are a number of rock-hard levels, but they're few and far between, and the game doesn't push you onwards as a result.
