After another hour or so of tweaking, I finally got Sheep Goes Right uploaded to both OUYA and PlayJam. Hopefully the game passes through without any issues, but I'm slightly worried that there might be memory based complications.
When I tested JNKBombers on my Razer Forge, I didn't spot any errors, but upon review, they send me a "Out of Memory" log, which suggested the Forge might not be all it's cracked up to be.
I suspect this to be a case of the system multitas...

There are now only 4 games left in my OUYA Redux game list.
Platdude in Battling Ostriches should be easy enough to do. The Final Warrior will also be easy, but I shan't be uploading it to PlayJam.
PlayJam previously had issues with the end credits of Invisible Munky mentioning the OUYAForum, so I expect that The Final Warrior will be an absolute barrel of chaos, since the giant Twitter-Avatar list contains names and avatars of multitudes of people, including a fair...

Getting close to the end of my first run through all the OUYA games.
Only (Only?!) another 15 or so games to go, and we'll have a complete OUYA collection.
So far there's been no major issues, but since I'm nearing the end of the list, there are a few kinks that need ironed out.

Jumped back and forth through a couple of things, yesterday, but mostly spent more time working on the level builder.
Things are starting to look a little more varied, and thankfully the addition of vertical scrolling has added a little bit more.
I'm currently worried about making sure the levels are completable, as I haven't yet added an AI player run-through of the level, to ensure it's at least playable. I'll have to do that next, I suppose.
In the meantime...

The next edition of SpikeDislike3 will come with 5 brand new themes, each with a unique playstyle.
In much the same way that SpikeDislike2 had it's Barry the Bee and Sheep Goes Right themes, this one will include a batch of themes that all mess about with the controls, and do things a little differently.
The first attempt is, of course, the classic "Chase the Train" mode, which you might remember from the (URL "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcbquXypuwc">Mastertr...

Not a very productive day, yesterday, if I'm honest.
I continued to play about with that Lester&Ralph theme, but I'm hitting the same roadblock as the last time, with the Sheep Goes Right theme, in that the characters run at the same constant speed so the entire point of the Combo system is completely ruined.
I'm not sure what I can add to mix it up, and am desperately playing with all manner of elements to see if I can find that one little thing that suddenly makes ...

First, I'd like to apologise for one of the new themes.
It seems that in my rush to get the game out, I neglected to realise how much blank space was left in one of the sprites.
What appears to be unfair collision is in fact "empty space on the upper right of the sprite".

Well, @Jayenkai , I've always supported you in the past. And I warned you focusing on piracy would turn you into something untenable.
Point one : I'm NOT focussed on the "Piracy"
I'm focussed on the twat that took my game, and uploaded it to Amazon, then tried to make a profit from it.
That, to me, is a million times worse than anyone who simply finds the game online and downloads it.
That's not just taking something, that's taking something then trying to profit from someon...

OK, I *think* I managed to post Invisible Munky 2, correctly, to iTunes Connect!
Unfortunately, due to the world in which Apple operates, we're going to have to wait just over a week to know for sure, as we wait for it to get through the stringent Apple Review gubbins.
No doubt, even if it's as broken as Cardagain is, it'll still get through, so I'll be counting on the masses of Twitter-folk to let me know if it works on all the different types of devices that are ou...

Twitter Rant

This morning, I'm battling with Twitter.
A short while ago, Twitter introduced a new "Easy to use!" way to reply to things, which is less messy and leaves more space for your reply. Essentially, the "New Reply" strips away everybody's @names, leaving just a single link back to the previous post.
In many ways, this is a nice thing, as when you're in the middle of a conversation with 5 or 6 people, it can typically leave about 3 characters for your reply to fit in!!

Yesterday I started playing about with all the different gameplay styles that'll make up the majority of the levels in SpikeDislike3.
If you're keeping track, you'll remember that WAY WAY way way way back in (URL "https://AGameAWeek.com/GameList.php?ShowJust=221">SpikeDislike 1) (Made in 2011, still works on most/all iOS devices!) there was a nice little Challenge mode to keep you entertained. Unfortunately, it didn't have a whole lot of levels. 36 levels were more or...

I spent some time, yesterday, playing around with the menu system for SpikeDislike3. It's starting to look fairly usable, now, with it's little bouncing "Next Level" thing, and all the spikes and stars in the right places.
I still need to add some sort of boundary to the left, so that the "Infinity" levels are more apparent, but for the most part, the menu is nice enough, and actually functions the way it's supposed to!

Yesterday I settled into "Music Mode", where I can generally whip out an AL CHOON for whatever purpose.
Unfortunately, after a good two hours of twiddling dials and buttons in Korg Gadget (iPad only) I came out with absolutely nothing decent whatsoever.
Ashamed that I'd wasted a good amount of time pretty much doing nothing, I instead decided to load up some old Choons, and see if they worked within the new SpikeDislike3 engine.
Good news! SpikeDislike3 will h...

You may have noticed a slight lack of gaming over the past couple of months. Usually I cut down on AGameAWeek during the closing months of a year, and instead focus on a larger project, but over the course of this year I've already tackled a number of larger projects.
Blockman Worlds, JNK Bombers, Future Classics.. They've all been substantially larger than my standard weekly output.
As such, I'm actually struggling to come up with a decent "end of year project" that would be worth tackling.
