Michael Fernie emailed yesterday to tell me that Gamepad support wasn't working in the latest Browsercade game.
Bah..

I made half a decent "Tanks/Combat" thing, in Petit Switch yesterday, but it's not quite right, and the collision detection is wonky as anything!

OK, I *think* I've got the controller code whittled down to a decent set of functions.
Part One is simply the One Player setup.
If you're feeling somewhat bored, open up Browsercade and give it a try.

Michael Fernie suggested that when he plugs a gamepad into Browsercade, it no longer works properly.

I'm slightly tempted to make a particular game for Browsercade, this week, but it really needs multiplayer (Local, via plugging in extra gamepads!) and if I'm being honest, my gamepad support still isn't quite as good as it should be.

A traditional Light Cycles game. Try to outwit your opponents.
.. It isn't very hard!
But it is rather fast.
If you've a Switch, and have downloaded SmileBASIC, you can grab a copy of the game using the Public Key...

A simple dice rolling challenge.
Roll the dice, and then decide if you want to roll again, totting up the scores into the Kitty as you go.
If at any moment you wish to "Bank" what you've earned, play will move to the next player
If you roll a One, you lose everything in the kitty.

*phew*
Yeah, I knew that wasn't going to be easy...

As I plough ahead without too much of a plan, I'm having to make a lot of quick decisions along the way.

I suppose I could do a racer, this week..?

I intended to get a lot of other stuff done, yesterday, but my mind wandered off into the realm of "Fun multiplayer thing I can add to SoCoder".

The framework isn't done.
Stop playing around with possible games, and get the framework finished, first.

Spent most of today going through my giant checklist, doing lots of the little un-attempted things.

OK, the mouse stuff seems to be working with overscan, now, which is good.
Additionally, the Game Controller code appears to be kinda ok.
I've set up the engine/framework/etc to assume all controllers are "The player's input", so I'm going to be doing 1-player only stuff until I can be bothered to faff about with it some more and implement multiplayer controller code!
Unfortunately, I don't 100% trust what GLFW3 is telling me.
The controller input list here is suggest...

I really need to get back to working on Sheep Goes Right. It's really not a good idea to leave it half-finished like that, but I'm kinda enjoying working on the new Framework so much that I've not had much time to look back at older things.
