Carrying on through my current flu symptoms, and I managed to get the last remaining "classic" tiles working in JNKPlat.
Those lovely exploding tiles, and pushable TNT block, along with the keys and gates, and an inventory for them, too. Views 84, Upvotes 15

The video above shows a bunch of the stuff I've been doing, today. The travellators were working the other day, as was the ability to hop up onto a ledge. But pretty much everything else is new. Views 94, Upvotes 7

Baffling Bounces
Blog
27th June 2018
In order to make the Bouncer format work properly, I'm going to need to give the player a different kind of control scheme.
I'm almost tempted to strip away the "constantly bouncing" form of the ball, and go for something more like Soccer Kid on the Amiga. Views 25, Upvotes 2

Going through my list of "games I probably should do using the new C++ Framework"..
I should probably do something a bit like this.. Thoughts?! I think I'll strip it back to the original "just a plain puzzle game" mechanic, and then see where I can go from there. Views 28, Upvotes 5

Over at GBATemp, user bobdamnit suggested that it'd be better if I release my 3DS games as .CIA files, so they can be installed on the main 3DS menu instead of just the Homebrew Launcher.

So, I scrapped the Sheep Herder engine, and started a new "time trial based" engine instead.
I got a classic Thrust style gravity ship, popped it at the start of the track on the top left of the screen. Fire for Thrust and then left and right. Views 28, Upvotes 2

This week's game is the lovely neon shooter, On a Space Shooting Trail RSKGamesLast year I played one the NeonPlat games and marveled at the neon graphics style. This game has the same style but the way the looks is achieved seems to have matured a lot. Using the new framework some crafty blending techniques have been used to convert the simp... Today is a day without my usual daily blog, mostly because I've been lazy, watching a lot of Festive TV, and am currently sat on the couch watching my Sister and her friend having a game of Scrabble, whilst typing this small bit of none-blog.
Later on, I'll probably need to hook up the SNES Classic for a short while, but given that my NES Classic hasn't ever been hooked up, that's not too likely to happen! Anyhoo, Merry Xmas everyone, and if you don't do that sort of thing, t... Views 35, Upvotes 6
