I think the schedule for 2020 might be slightly different than the absolute insanity that I've been doing the past few months.

Saturday's Shoebox won't be Pool

Last night..
Finished off this week's Browsercade game (Spiky Tower is available on the site, proper release posts coming soon)
Started this week's Petit Switch game (Petit Clampett can run around, but the level generator needs a ton of work)
And then..

Far too hot. Struggled to sleep, last night.
Instead, I sat in the living room at 1:30, tapping away on my laptop.

The good old game that you used to secretly play at the back of the classroom!
You can Play Dots and Squares in the Shoebox, in the One On One area.

I've dumped a bunch of videos on YouTube for the PetitSwitch games.
I've set up a Petit Switch playlist, and am going to attempt to keep to that with future releases.
But what of everything else?

A very Platdude styled set of cards are ready to be used, but there's no game for them to go into, yet.
Today will be about starting a new framework to cope with them.

Whilst doing Foldapuz, I added in a Chess Font which helped make a couple of nice chess puzzles for the site.
Both ideas seem to suit pen'n'paper quite well, but another idea I had is definitely more of a Videogame Logic game.

So, what game's next?
With all the Foldapuz development, my head's currently full of little puzzle game ideas that don't quite work (literally) on paper, so I expect the next game to end up being something to do with one of those ideas.

At around 1am, I was starting to drift off to sleep, when suddenly..
"POUNCE!" A late night idea popped into mind.

I've spent most of the past week building up a collection of little bits and pieces.

Made another new Foldapuz game, yesterday.

Added Eight Queens to the mix.
It's an age old puzzle that's existed in newspapers for as long as I can remember, and was alarmingly simple to add into the mix.
I'd like to do another Chess based puzzle, but it's proving a teensy bit more complex to generate, and I honestly don't think it's all that difficult to solve once it has done!
A puzzle for another day.
The Chess Pieces are drawn using the font "Chess Alpha", which I found on this page.

The triangles weren't too hard to get up and running yesterday, so I also took time to make a completely random letter grid.
The letter grid doesn't really have any specific solution due to it being entirely random, but you're supposed to play it like you would a game of Boggle.. Trying to find words with letters that join up.

I've spent the past few hours getting the majority of the Foldapuz website up and running.
Simple drop down menus, and a whole lot of Javascript, and the thing seems to be fairly functional.
If you're into your Pen 'n' Paper puzzles, you might enjoy it!

Last month, I subscribed to the ZenPop Ramen selection.
