Matrix Blaster on Petit Switch seems more or less done, so I'll put that away until tomorrow's normal release day, and start work on the similar'ish planet-defence thing for Browsercade.

Right, I've had this idea bubbling about for a week or so. It's almost fermented, but I think I should be able to figure out what's going to happen along the way.

Making a start on Part Two of the recent project, I've opted to make this version a desktop app, as it gives me a teensy bit more functionality.

Got a nice background effect going in Petit Switch, last night. A parallax side-scrolling sky/ground thing, with trees and clouds swooshing by at high speed. Today I need to decide on what sort of game should go on top of that. I'm currently thinking some sort of fast paced shooter, a bit like Space Harrier, but only as a side-scroller, because I'm rubbish at pseudo-3d! Not sure. Find out tomorrow, I guess!

Spent most of yesterday trying to figure out how best to get a glow effect in a Browsercade edition of NeonPlat.

OK, back to a Shoebox game, this week. And, already my mind is fizzling with ideas! ... For Browsercade..

Spent most of yesterday trying to make this effect look half-decent. Kinda works, I guess.. The flickering of the torch helps disguise the terrible way I did the light effect. It's not 100%.. It's more like 60%!! *shrugs* Now to add gameplay.

The Foldapuz game took a while to get started, mostly because I didn't have a bloomin' clue what to do. I'm definitely starting to run out of ideas for that thing. Might be time to think about retiring it, or at the very least, not forcing myself to come up with something every single week.

Light up five of the handlink's buttons so that all the surrounding values become zeroes. Each value states how many squares in its row/column should be lit up, and will change along with your pushes, so a bit of analysis should allow you to solve the puzzle well enough. With my mind set on doing background tasks over Advent, I spent a few hours tweaking bits of Foldapuz, yesterday.

A few weeks ago, I was supposed to go for my Flu Jab, but that didn't happen. (I had a rather bad day, health wise, and couldn't make it.) Today, we do it all again! It's stabbing time, on Halloween!!!

I drew a pumpkin last night. It is Halloween week, after all. I think I've more or less got a gameplan in mind, but whether it ends up being fun.. Who can say!? Not much else to report, really. I took most of yesterday off from regular coding, and spent a couple of hours getting familiar with the LumaFusion iPad video editor. I've managed to wrangle a few nice little effects, and now have a bunch of little half-complete video clips that may or may not end up being used. Fun with tools! ...

Pogo The Fridge

Liked the health bar mode for life instead of the 3 life stickers in the original. The fridge getting beaten up sprites for each bullet hit is a nice touch.
