Build a tower from the bottom, up. Take turns placing girders, with the length defined by the roll of a dice. If you complete a level, you earn a point. The player with the most points, once the tower is complete, is the winner. You can Play Bottoms Up in the Group Games of the Shoebox.

A simple dice rolling challenge. Roll the dice, and then decide if you want to roll again, totting up the scores into the Kitty as you go. If at any moment you wish to "Bank" what you've earned, play will move to the next player If you roll a One, you lose everything in the kitty. It's a simple risk/reward game, but I really enjoyed the game, especially in Party Mode against 3 AL players. You can Play Pig in the Shoebox under the Group games.

The plan for Shoebox, this week, was Farkle. Briefly mentioned by Otakupunk in his last video, I took a quick look at the game and thought "Yeah, I could do that." ... Hmm..

''Grid of Conquest'' immediately reminded me of ''Might of the Balls'' which was incidentally made almost on a similar date last year ''23rd July, 2018''. Oh yeah! I'd actually forgotten about that game.

This project was titled "Power Source" when I started it, but the name doesn't fit the end result, so I'm going to have to change it.

Yesterday, I opened up the Crossword Code to start work on the other reuses of the game, and sat staring at the screen for around about half an hour.

I added that function for good reason, and Alan seems determined to make me use it!!

Right, I was halfway through the "Extra" card, wasn't I.. Maybe some kind of quick board game that makes use of those? I had considered doing a Snakes and Ladders style game but with cards for movement, so .. Yeah, I think I might attempt something like that, today.

Having a few "quirk" issues, right now.

After yesterday's break, I'm back to getting Ludo up and running, and .. Boy is it complicated!!

I was very lucky that in my first game I did not get into any snake tiles and got the help of one ladder tile to reach near the end zone much before the AI. Yup, this is a game 100% down to luck. I'd like to perhaps remove the sheer-luck, by making the moves maybe Card based, or something? Not quite sure how well that would work, and it honestly wouldn't be "Snakes and Ladders" anymore. So.. Perhaps another type of board game in the future?

If you're a frequent reloader of Shoebox of Games, you might've noticed the sounds of the cards being switched out, about half-a-dozen times, over the course of yesterday.

I spent most of last night trying various microphone tweaks in order to get just the right sound.

Made a Yahtzee Clone, today. To keep things as legal as possible, the scoring is marginally different, so be sure to read through the rules to get to grips with the exact sets of dice that you can get points for. You can play Shoebox of Games here. "Dice Rolls" can be found in the new "Misc" section, where I've shifted Leapfrog to, so be aware of that. In my head, Misc = "Can be played in reality" whereas Extra = "Probably a little bit too videogamey to count as a proper ShoeBox game!" As alway...
