Being woken up by an alarm clock is bad enough.. Being woken up whilst trying to get over to sleep... Grrr!!

Yesterday the Bungalow Estate Agent got in touch, and talked about the current owner's work on the property, to make it as safe as he could for us.

True Fact : Jay hates sitting about waiting for things, and feels much better when he's vaguely in control, even if things are flying around crazily as he juggles them in an insane manner.

The surveyor came, wandered about the house, stomped his feet to check the floors, tapped at walls, checked the gas/electric meters, and generally hunted for every terrible thing he could.

Today the surveyor will be coming to survey the house.

Mum and Uncle managed to get to the bungalow fairly easily yesterday, though the road the bus stopped on was quite busy and hard to get across, with the closes pelican crossing being a fair walk away. Other than that, though, it was easy enough to get there by bus.

Spent most of yesterday getting all the bookmarks ready, for things that need to be done once we've got a moving date, and everything is 100% happening.

The bedroom is done, but for one final box. The last box will contain my hygiene products, my current last few bits of clothing, and whatever knickknacks are left in the top drawer of my desk. Oh No.. Wait.. There's a giant pile of books hidden over in the corner!!

The recent power issues have apparently now been solved. Hurray! .. Maybe.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to invest in a good UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), because another power-glitching woke me up for about the fifth time in recent weeks. Hmm..

Not much going on with the house move, on our side, in recent days, so got to spend another day tappity-tapping a game into existence.

Got a phone call, yesterday, trying to organise a Surveyor for the Bungalow. .. We did that weeks ago!!!

Another day, another email with another document to sign. We have to sign it, then send it back in the post, because that's how signatures work.

We're taking a two-week break from the stresses of the house move.

The Amiga box used to house nothing more than Floppy Disks and a curious number of old PC hard drives. Now it has Amiga Floppy Disks, and .. An Amiga!!

Our solicitor got in contact.. The phrase "May be a Shared Ownership scenario" left Mum and myself in a state of sheer panic on Tuesday.

Oops, I coded again!!

Boxed 95% of my clothes last night. Not 100% sure why!

We're currently waiting for a skip to arrive. All the clutter from the loft the other day is waiting in the back garden to be transitioned into a new large yellow container! Hurray!

Had three visitors, yesterday. Everyone's coming around for a chat, and a nosey at the pics of the bungalow.

Most of the main jobs, as far as PDF based form-filling is concerned, appears to be done, so for now it's back to packing.

My little Amstrad CPC. Bought as a family Xmas present from Dixons, back in the mid-80s. It was moved into my bedroom since we moved to this house in 1987, and it's been part of my bedroom ever since.
