The other day, I asked Dall-E to come up with a few layout suggestions for the site, and in amongst it's four different outputs, the top left one peaked my interest.
The idea of reducing EVERYTHING down to little boxes seemed kind of ideal, as far as squeezing a little more stuff into a page.

There are still a few things I need to rejig to get the site up to a state that I'm completely happy with.

It took a couple of hours of code-tweaking to make a proper start on them last night, but I've finally made the first 10 or so levels in the JNKPlat Switch edition.

Spent another hour or so with JNKPlat Switch yesterday.
The Level Editor menu is now at least functional, to the point where you can pick a level, and either play or edit it.

One of the main things putting me off doing a new version of The Quest is that my art style sucks when drawing anything larger than a 32x32 pixel image.
Sheep Goes Right was an absolute fluke!!

The Quest isn't going to magic itself into existence overnight, so I might have to come up with some kind of emergency game in the meantime, or there'll be no games to post this week!

I say added.. The section's been there for about a decade, but has been mostly unused.

I've had this week's ALChoon sitting on my drive since last Thursday, waiting to be posted.
Now that it's gone, my drive is lonely, and needs another ALChoon.

I spent a good number of hours trying to find a nice graphical style for a new BlastTrax, last night.

The Rainbow Road even looked bad. I've given up on doing a BlastTrax for this week, I think.

(But don't worry, it's only my home-edition that's broke!)

Deciding to take the Sunday off, I opened up my archive of old Amstrad Computer User magazines and started flicking through, taking a crazy nostalgia trip into the unknown.

What began as a temporary thing has most certainly stood the test of time, though it did have a complete rewrite 5 years ago to keep things running as smoothly as anything I've written can run.
