She's probably right, but it sure beats the rush that would've happened otherwise.
I don't think my body/mind could've coped with last minute packing.

It's 100 days since we got a solicitor for the house move.
\o/yeay\o/
Happy 100th!

A nice relaxing day, yesterday. The ALChoon got posted, and we sat around waiting for news again.
Still silent on the Solicitor's front, but the Estate Agent is happy that all contracts and other signings are done on our side of things.

The Bungalow Buying contract has now been signed by us.
The House Selling contract was signed last month.
That should hopefully be everything signed, now.
Ready to go!

Today will be mostly resting, other than all the other bits and pieces I have to do.

Over on SoCoder, TheRevillsGames asked us to test a Windows exe on our systems.
It failed on mine, but then I AM running a virtual version of Win11Arm on a MacBook.

Me and Mum are both at the end of our wits.
We've suffered enough, and this weekend's smashed into us like a giant bloody truck.

Our phone's switchover to the new Router-based phone line "should" be happening at some point today.
I also have to update Mum's iPhone/iPad to iOS17, at some point, too.
I think that's going to be the theme of today. Updating.

Seems like we're just sitting around, this week.
Not much of anything's happening.
It's almost like Mum's given up. .. But then, realistically, we were pretty much packed and ready to go, three months ago.
There's not really a whole lot more to do!

I drew a new version of Greenie yesterday, and fed it into the LoRA training for Stable Diffusion.
And this morning I went back to the old one.

The new JSE commands are now live, though most of them do cause a heck of a lot of slowdown, so use sparingly!!

I added a couple of nice new commands in GotoJSE, yesterday, but haven't uploaded them yet.
Maybe later today, you might be able to play with them..?

Another weekend, and even less going on.
On the plus-side, we got contracts to sign for the bungalow, which is nice.

Apparently the indemnity insurance for the "Absent Freeholder" (who isn't absent if the council are right, but solicitors...) will take about six weeks to finalise.

Haven't heard a peep from the Solicitor this week.

iPad, iPhone and MacBook are all "Hey, let's update!!" this morning.
The Mac and iPad are both on the beta path, so are getting the most recent update, but what's the iPhone doing?!
Just a purely random update for no reason?

The chatty chat with the Estate Agent went reasonably well, yesterday.

As is the norm, the weekend's gone quiet, and nothing's happening.

One thing that's been holding us up, over the past THREE MONTHS has been "Who's the Freeholder".
And, the further we delve into that, the more complicated it's getting.
Down the rabbit hole we go!

The council still haven't gotten back to me after yesterday's phone call.
If I don't hear anything by about 3pm, today, I'll be ringing them up to try and get some kind of answer as to what's going on.
Can't have this kerfuffle holding everything up.

Today I have to phone the council up, again.
To get the freeholder's name, again.
And get it in writing this time, so the Solicitor doesn't spend ANOTHER MONTH trying to figure out something that took me 10 minutes on the phone to find out.

Today is SoCoder's 17th birthday. It's kinda scary to think about that, if I'm honest.
17 years of coding, bug-fixes and general madness.

More waiting, today.
Nothing much has happened over the weekend, though we did hear from the Bungalow Estate Agent about how frustrated the Bungalow owner's getting with our solicitor.

Over the weekend I stupidly decided to buy another domain name, and have started to integrate all the JNKsg tools into a marginally neater package.

I got to see the bungalow, yesterday! Hurray!!
