Spent far too much time faffing about with JSE, yesterday, that I completely forgot I have a SmileBASIC game to finish off!

Over the course of 2020, I've created a LOT of games. (113!?)
In this post, I pick my personal favourites that I've made this year, for each of the four places that I've been juggling making games for.
If you have your own favourites, let me know in the comments, or bombard me with tweets telling me how wrong I am!

The numbers in the grid suggest the blocks taken up by a shape. Fill in the shapes, ensuring there's a horizontal and vertical gap between each shape. (Shapes may touch, diagonally)

There are eight stars in the sky, and eight blocks. Stars shine vertically and horizontally, with their star power adding together. Blocks stop the light from going any further.
Use the light values to help decide where the stars are in the sky.

Each number represents a shape of that many blocks. Fill in the grid in a way that no like-sized blocks are touching each other.
You can Print sheets of the puzzle, here, or alternatively Play them in your browser, here.

Yesterday's attempt at making a moving-blocks sort of game didn't really end up with any great results.
Today, then, I'll probably do something spacey. I'm thinking Space Popcorn might need a revisit, with a bit of the collection-gameplay from Popcorn Bucket. Some kind of mashup between the two.

OK, time for another game, then!
Gotta keep coding!!
I still have the urge to do something with matching blocks, but more Platformer'y.
I'm not sure what game my head wants to do with that concept, but trying to make it work with a random generator will probably be the hardest part.
