As she silently sleeps,
I tidy the room.
The mess all around
from the toys that are strewn.
I've now done five hundred.
And yet there are more..
A thousand? A million?
.. or maybe just four.
A moth attacked. I killed it dead.
Another took it's place instead.
It didn't last, just like it's brother.
And after that one came another.
A complaint on GameJolt
about an ancient unused feature.
I guess that it's time
for the iCade option to retire.
The weather outside is scorching,
So much that I bought a new fan.
I switched it on to cool the room,
but then the storms began.
As I settled down into my bed,
and slowly rested down my head.
I checked my email for the night..
A giant moth flew towards the light!!
My game is in need of a tune.
It's something I really must add.
But with not much more time left to do it.
I hope that it doesn't sound bad.
Stumbling through another day,
Our heroic adventurer finds the way,
Past enemies and dangerous spikes.
Searching for the home he likes.
Whenever Explorer crashes,
which is just once a week or so.
My trackpad no longer does scrolling
but quite why, I simply don't know.
Some games are quite epic.
Whilst others, just doodles.
I code them all week,
whilst eating my noodles.
Backing up is easy.
Just click, then wait, Job done.
But you only seem to remember,
Once disaster's already begun.
Wednesdays are hard,
but Thursdays are tougher.
AGameAWeek is chaotic
Skipped days make it rougher.
A day in my bed.
To rest my poor head.
But now I've got oodles
to work on, instead.
I thought it was a piece of fluff
So picked up off the floor.
But no, it was a spider!
Now it's on the ground once more.
That's how this game feels.
It's getting much harder.
I need training wheels!
A large piece of cake. A great slice of gateaux.
Cherries and chocolate all over the place.
Shovel it all down my glutinous pie hole.
All kinds of sweetness to fill up my face.
They sent the wrong pills again.
It happens every time.
Each month I complain
for the pills that are mine.
I'm trying to think straight.
But it isn't that easy.
A trip into Bolton.
It makes me feel queazy.
