I've tried to come up with a good concept for our poor little Eaglephant, but in the end the game has been reduced down to floating platforms, hundreds of enemies and a depleting weapon. I really do need some fresh ideas, lately.

Yesterday a complicated set of output saw me having to trawl through the chaotic mess of SoCoder's innards, in order to find a way to shorten URLs on the front page of the site.

Yesterday was mostly spent playing about with a bunch of old emulated videogames using Retro Virtual Machine.

As much as I tried to get some coding done, yesterday, it seems my head just wasn't in the right place for it. Some days you can, other days you struggle

For this week's game, I've currently got a generic maze type thing going, but I'm certainly needing to spice it up a little.

Haven't a clue what game I'm making, but today's the day to kick things into gear and get something going.

I've spent much of this year so far, NOT watching YouTube. Yesterday, the Quantum Leap Podcast posted an interview with one of the exec-producers of the new series, so I just HAD to hop on over to the toobs and have a watch.

Today's task is to come up with a music video about chocolate chips. Not sure why the little ditty went down that route, but where the melody takes me, that's where I go!!

Much as expected, most of yesterday was a complete and utter failure, as far as getting things done is concerned.

Good grief, it certainly was stormy last night. The wind howling through the small air-vent in my room made for an incredibly noisy night. Outside, rain and hail was battering the conservatory roof insanely loudly, and the cat was freaking out, running up and down the stairs.
