Quite a busy day, yesterday. Not only did I get the game finished off and posted, I also then tackled a couple of website things that I'd not yet bothered to do.

With each release comes an influx of feedback from the many people who've played the games. This week, @RSKGames takes a look at an underwater Snake clone. You can Download Slithering Waters here.

The title font design with the wavy pattern is nicely done.

I've finally found the time to add a "Latest Scores" section to the Scoreboard page. Click the upper-left "Latest Scores" button for an up to the minute list of the most recently posted scores. Simple but effective!

Time for Generic Snake Game #29304732!

The game's balance seems ok, now. Although I've not really added much to the game, the balance of the three difficulties seems to be nice and level enough.

(YouTube) I haven't yet given a name to this week's game. It's some kind of underwater snake-like creature. .. *shrugs* Thoughts in the comments. The fewer Google results, the better.

Oh, pants.. The iPad got down to 40% before crashing, today, and once plugged back in stated it had 3% battery remaining. That's really not good...

iPad died at 30% battery again, last night. That's not a good sign. Ignoring the imminent failure of my own technology, I spent most of yesterday trying to get iOS and Android working again, but failing to get anything going whatsoever.

I really need to work on the game, today. I've mostly neglected it for the past couple of days, and that's no good for AGameAWeek!

After the backup and restore, the iPad battery seems to be back to "normal" operation. I had an hour or so of YouTube time, wrote this week's Socoder newsletter and attempted an ALChoon in KORG Gadget, and the battery was still at about 40% by around 5pm. A lot of faffing around for functionality, but at least I don???t have to buy a new sodding iPad, now!

For the past few weeks, my iPad battery's been conking out halfway through the day, with about 30% remaining.

It doesn't help that my keyboard occasionally does double-taps, so about 5 or 6 deleted versions had me typing things like moodel, or cllick.. You can actually see a couple of double spaces in this version, but I figured they're passable! Bah, humbug.

I intended to get a lot of other stuff done, yesterday, but my mind wandered off into the realm of "Fun multiplayer thing I can add to SoCoder".

Action-Based Snake game seems to be the plan for this week. It's mostly based on the abandoned Action part of the Biscuit game, but feels much better as a standalone game.
