I had a nice day off, yesterday, playing with the Logo generator. There's still a few other things I'd like to add, like gradients and possibly borders, outlines, embossing, and that sort of thing. But for now I think I should probably head back to JNKPlat.

This is Not a Game

You know what might be handy? If I had some kind of magic title generator, so I could type in the name of a game, and it'd go "Kapoof!" and magic me up a wide variety of possible titlecards.

I'm now at a point where I can edit a level, save the level, quit the game, load the game, start the game, and the game will then load the level I just edited.

It's 1pm, already, and I've barely started my day. Yet again, I did that thing where I stay awake writing the SoCoder Newsletter, "to give myself more time in the morning", but then am so tired that I end up spending all that "extra time" asleep. Totally backfires... .. ... Every week!!

Today's tasks are to tackle level loading, as well as dealing with general pack data.

I can save TWO levels, now! In fact, I can save four! Wowie!!

Last night, I saved my test level! Unfortunately, it uncovered further complications.

The button layout chaos continues.. I'm going to try to make the gui for the level editor do as much as it can without needing buttons!!

I didn't get nearly as much done, yesterday, as I'd planned. Or at least, not all the elements of yesterday's checklist, anyway.

Level editing was such a simple plan, at the start, but with every little thing I tweak, the whole process gets more and more complicated!
