My mind wasn't in a coding mood, yesterday, with a troll appearing on SoCoder and me having to faff about getting rid of all of that.

New ICQ?
Blog
8th April 2020
A fair number of changes, over on the ICQ app, today, including a forced request for your phone number.. Not really happy about that, and will be watching for spam over the next few days.
If I don't post a giant whinge about my phone suddenly getting a ton of garbage sent to it, you can assume it's "probably" not being used illicitly.
Meanwhile..Last night I started work on a remake of "Fan of Bugs" over on PetitSwitch, and the basics are working reasonably well. Bugs get spun aro...Views 29, Upvotes 5

In Phonecall, you simply have to try to figure out what word is being typed out, from the number that's been dialled.
You can Print out sheets of puzzles, here, or alternatively Play it in your browser, here.

Moving On..
Blog
6th April 2020
Bit of a late night, last night. Well, it wasn't too late. I got to sleep around about 1 in the morning, but then inexplicably woke up at 3, and could NOT get back to sleep again!
Wasn't until about 6:30 before I did, and as would be expected, I'm utterly wrecked, this morning.
Bah, humbug!

Didn't get any coding done, yesterday.
Had another one of those "Mind's not playing" days. There seems to be a lot of those, lately.
Posted a "Checking In" post to both Facebook and Twitter, simply asking how everyone was holding up, and got a nice set of responses.
Everyone locked inside, and trying desperately to keep themselves entertained.
How are you coping through all of this?
If it helps in any way, creativity seems to keep me going. Daily Pixelarts, Music, and of course all the ...

Music : JPicks 20-03
Blog
3rd April 2020
A recent discussion in an email thread brought up the fact that I used to (back in the days of evil, evil, evil Napster) make weekly/daily suggestions for music I'd found.
Lately, I've been bulking up my JPop collection thanks to the wonders of Apple Music, and the idea of bringing back a semi-regular JPicks feature seemed to be a ... decent idea? Maybe..!

If you've got an Apple Music subscription, give that link a whirl, and let me know if it works.

A quick "game" tutorial type thing for a silly little game, created using PetitCom/SmileBASIC on the Nintendo Switch.
If you've grabbed a copy from the Japanese eShop, you should be able to follow along, since the program itself now includes a complete English translation.
I'll assume you're using the program with a USB Keyboard attached, but if not, most of the keyboard functionality can be accessed by hitting the [-] button on your controller.
From the main menu, hit the Make a Prog...

This is not really a game idea.
I've seen you're using petitcomputer 4 on nintendo swich.
Do you like the basic coding language?
If yes, you can also make mobile games (cuz your little games could really go on mobile) for android using Rfo basic and Rfo compiler (if you don't want to pay a compiler, you can just use rfo-quick apk).
Hope to see some mobiles games soon, heredos.
Honestly.. I'm DONE with Mobile.
