Poke five of the tiles so that the grid matches the target.
If you've a Switch, and have downloaded SmileBASIC, you can grab a copy of the game using the Public Key...

As I stated a few days ago (didn't I?) I've been working on a port of Poke 5,n over to SmileBASIC.
It's been going fairly well, but I had to integrate Touch control to my framework. Eeek!!

So, I see that CSS has finally evolved enough that simple subtractions are now actually doable.

Within each cluster of four, the left value is the Total (Add/Sum) of the top and bottom values, whilst the right value is the Product (Multiply) of the top and bottom.
Use deduction and maths to solve all the boxes.
You can Print sheets of puzzles, here or alternatively Play it in your browser.

Shoebox - Poke 5,n
Blog
11th May 2020
Use the five provided poke-types, and poke at five of the tiles, in order to match the given target grid.
Easy mode is more of a tutorial, Normal mixes things up, and then Hard really ramps things up.
You can Play Poke 5,n in the Shoebox, in your Browser, on Desktop, Mobile or Tablet.

A Rewrite?

Attempt number #359709537 of the website overhaul.
This one went a little further than previous attempts, but the giant sidebar wasn't that great, and the way the blogs were being formatted looked ugly as heck.

Between about 5 and 5:30, my head started screaming at me, letting me know that it wants to do a new version of Poke 5,n for the Shoebox, and potentially even a version for Petit Switch, too.
I tried my best to get back to sleep, but it would just..not..shut..up!

Let's create a classic retro effect.
Flames!
As with all of these tutorials, you can hit F5 at pretty much any step of the process to see how the changes in code have impacted the program.

Busy Busy Busy...
Blog
8th May 2020
Wrote up a Flame Effect thing for SmileBASIC, last night.
I'd written the effect about a week ago, but only just got to the vague instructions, last night. Busy week!
And then I went to post it, looked at the day's postings, and realised that 9 posts in a single day is probably more than enough!!
