Yesterday's new Foldapuz addition went alarmingly smoothly. .. I should've known that wasn't a good sign.

Added Tartan and Polkadot to add a few more repeating pattern options. The Polkadot generator has a couple of really nice options to generate some lovely repeating textures, which can be great for menu backgrounds and the like.

Added Find The King, which is another little Chess based puzzle. The enemy have swarmed, and are doing really alarmingly well, and you're down to your last piece. Your King is somewhere on the board, but where can he possibly be? Incidentally, this is the game I previously had in mind, here.

I spent about 80% of yesterday choosing a font!

I spent near enough all day, yesterday, fighting the fight with Emscripten.

I spent most of yesterday struggling to get the Pixelart2STL tool to have a lovely 3D WebGL representation of the model, so that I can then upgrade the tool to allow for monochrome extruded models like the original .exe does.

As I add more and more features to Foldapuz, it becomes more and more apparent that I haven't put a bloomin' link on this site, anywhere!!

Added Bracket Surgery, whereby you need to add two sets of brackets into the equation so that the result is correct. This game relies on your understanding of BODMAS, so if you're not "into" your maths, it might not appear that the original equation is incorrect! Rest assured, the maths have been checked, and the equation is wrong.

A quick batch of JNKPlat levels, today, as I couldn't think of anything else to do for the Advent of Creativity!

Played about an hour and a half of Smash, from Midnight, until I was too tired to play any more. As good a game as always, but no sign of the always-fun Homerun contest.. Hmm...

Added Repeating Patterns, or at least patterns which "should" repeat! These are handy for backgrounds and things like that. I then reused those patterns to create Floor Tiles, and additionally Standard Platforms. Additionally, I added in some Spaceships, which seem to work better at lower resolutions.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday working up a new Platform Generator for the Sprite-Gen doohickey.

Yesterday was a bit of a rest day, as I gradually wore myself down with all the coding I've been doing recently.

Added Link Janitor, named after my AGameAWeek game of the same name. Link up the lettered pairs without crossing paths. I've not accounted for diagonals, so avoid those. They might be do-able with diagonals, and may be easier or harder, but they're not part of the puzzle, so.. Avoid!! Yesterday I continued to work on the new Javascript Generator tool that I've started. Making things a little neater, moving text links to button-based links, tweaking all manner of internal bits and pieces.

Otakupunk's sent a lovely set of Xmas Themed levels for JNKPlat. Be sure to give them a whirl! You can grab JNKPlat 2018 here You might also like to grab the complete level file from the Level Database, too. Simply pop it in the same folder as the exe, or if you're playing on 3DS, dump it into the agawsave folder.

The SoCoder Advent of Creativity has asked for people to create things over the course of Advent. I've decided to make a website which then further creates arty little splodges! Starting with Snowflakes as well as Bushy Trees and Spiky Grass, the site seems to be functioning well enough. The site is 100% Javascript based, and works by quickly downloading the javascript of the generator you've selected, and then running it in the background to make a batch of Procedurally Generated sprites...

Got enough things to keep up with, there, Jay? No? How about another lengthy never-ending project?!

I coded a snowglobe, yesterday.

Apologies that there's no "Collexion", this year. With the sheer size of JNKPlat, which scaled the entirety of the past few months, I ended up abandoning this year's Advent Calendar entirely.

OK, here's one thing I've learned, today. For .. Whatever.. reason, emscripten seems to work infinitely better if you #include ".cpp" instead of #include ".h" like you'd normally do. I'm fairly sure this is "wrong", but screw it, I don't care!! Look what I can play, right now, in my browser!!!

But what sort of creative things will I be posting?!

An Early/Late blog, tonight.

A fair amount of icon drawing, today, as I tried my best to come up with some kind of over-arching style for the many different game icons. I'm not sure it's been that much of a success, if I'm honest, but at least I tried.

I tried about 3 or 4 different icon styles, last night, but can't quite find one to fit.

Oh dear.. This is the bit I'm rubbish at!!
