Menu Coming Together
Blog
17th June 2019
After a couple of days of back&forth, I've finally decided "meh, whatever!" and opted to go for a Coverflow-RipOff style menu.
It actually looks rather nice, and scrolls quite well, except on touchscreens where the thing's a teensy bit dodgy due to co-ordinate issues.
But otherwise it works nicely. (Although it isn't "quite" centring properly!)
Scroll around, select a game, sorted..
Currently all "games" lead to the exact same test engine, but eventually this will (hopefully!) be a ma...

Domino Grid
Blog
17th June 2019
A simple, (but somewhat eye-popping) logic puzzle, this week.
A few of the dominos haven't been filled in!
Using the combination of the row/column totals (at the end of each row) along with the fact that you shouldn't be duplicating any dominos, try to fill in the missing blanks.
But.. Beware..
You should also try not to fill in any of the blanks that actually should be blank!
You can Play Domino Grid here, or wait for it to show up in your regularly scheduled Foldapuz pages.

Really running out of ideas for that, but am determined to keep pushing onwards until there are literally no more random puzzles left to put in!

Thoughts..?

..?
I've enjoyed doing Shoebox for the past few months, and am currently trying to decide whether I should make a similar browser-based collection of Keyboard/Gamepad supported games.
Delving through the depths of AGameAWeek's past, I'd be able to build up a fairly interesting collection that can all be played in your browser.
.. I might even add one of those "Onscreen Controls" things for when you're playing on mobile..
If I were to do this, I've decided that a nice name migh...

After each release, or thereabouts because it's getting hard for even me to keep up, we get a little bit of feedback for the games.
If you'd like to join in, you can either use the Comments section, Email me, or send a Tweet.
You can Play Atoms in the ShoeBox. It's in the "Group Games" section.
@RSKGames says..Played 3 times and lost the first time and won the second and third time. First time I lost after my very first move. LOL! Poor @RSKGames!Views 124, Upvotes 20

@RSKGames suggests..
Can you consider making a version of the new AGAW JS mega compilation into an electron app so that you can retain the online scoreboard. In a electron app I think you can restrict users getting into the dev console.
I'll have a look into it.

Atoms?
Blog
13th June 2019
I was flicking through my Shoebox Todo-List, today, and stumbled upon Atoms.
I haven't attempted Atoms for a while, mostly because it requires me to draw all those Atoms!!
But, today I drew them, and the engine seems fairly capable.
(ignore the fact that half those positions aren't "real", it's just a crazy animating thing, right now!)

Audio Dilemma..
Blog
12th June 2019
In the new framework, audio tests are going ahead.
An mp3 can stream, and play, and even stays in memory for repetition or restarts when the game is restarted.
The mp3 can be paused, the mp3 can be set to loop.
This is all good.
Moreso, I've coded the ability for different mp3s to play for different games, and perhaps even different tracks per level. The browser will grab the mp3 as needed, and will play it.
This is all good!!
Yeay!

I'm still marginally hopeful that I can make something fun from the car thing.
