I probably should've held Homepath back until tomorrow, but I was enjoying playing the thing, so decided it was worth a slightly early post. So, what's up next?

"Homepath" is seemingly working well enough, but today I'd like to try adding a few extra additions into the gameplay, to make the levels a little more complex.

I couldn't concentrate on the Pool game, today. I tried my hardest, but my mind was a-wandering.. Instead, then, I ended up making this.

I really need to knuckle down and get the Pool game a bit more playable.

Gather up the card into the Foundation spaces, in the usual Ace to King manner. The challenge here is that each of the "table" piles can only hold 3 cards. Move them around to reach the required cards for the Foundations, by shifting the topmost card onto an allowable space. Cards can be placed atop another card either one value above or below, of any suit. I didn't spend nearly enough time on the Pool game, yesterday, so Emergency Backup Shoebox Game was slapped onto the server late last night. I'll post about that in a jiffy.

I'm fairly sure that AL's angles aren't quite right. He can aim for the pockets, but always seems to be a half-degree or so away from landing the shot. I've double/triple checked all my maths, and it seems to be in order, but .. Hmm...

With a skipped Browsercade, this week, and my "Time off", I'm managing to finish off all manner of little bits and pieces. I even took the time to finally make myself a little AGameAWeek Notification Noise using GarageBand. I might do a few more, and upload them to the site.. *shrugs*

It's 8 in the morning, and I haven't slept yet. I've got most of this week's Petit Switch game done, and a fair amount of "Emergency Shoebox Game" ready in case the Pool goes another week without being finished off. I also wrote most of tomorrow's SoCoder Newsletter, and even did an AL Choon. A highly productive night.. And, now I'll probably sleep, because.. I should probably do that!! Nanite!

A week off... ... So, um.. I managed to make a quick and simple Foldapuz game, yesterday, and also got a fair amount of work done on the Pool AI.

.. And that was as far as I got.

Week off!! I started a game for Browsercade, today, but it wasn't going anywhere. Similarly, I haven't a clue what to do for Foldapuz, this week. My mind has given up.. Time for a much needed rest. I've written 32 games in the past 8 weeks, and .. frankly, that's more than enough!! Nap time, and recovery, and rest!! See you in a couple of days when I ultimately get bored and code another game!!

Late night pondering shifted to the Mod playing functionality in Browsercade, and I wondered...

A simple dice rolling challenge. Roll the dice, and then decide if you want to roll again, totting up the scores into the Kitty as you go. If at any moment you wish to "Bank" what you've earned, play will move to the next player If you roll a One, you lose everything in the kitty. It's a simple risk/reward game, but I really enjoyed the game, especially in Party Mode against 3 AL players. You can Play Pig in the Shoebox under the Group games.

I'll be taking the day off, today, so only the posting of last night's Shoebox addition, then a few spammy posts to Twitter. After that, I think I'm going to shut down for the day. Full of flu, sniffling, energyless. ... Yeah, I need a day off!!

My iPad alarm went off as usual, and I rolled up and hit the "STFU" button like I always do. Except it didn't STFU.. Instead, it got approximately 800 times louder, and glitched the same half second of audio, over and over and over and over and over and over... I had to power down the iPad and reboot it.
