Although only Cardagain currently has any "House Rules", I have at least decided on the best place to put them. The House Rules are fittingly inside the "Rules" section. Lots of comments, lately, as the Shoebox has essentially thrown any kind of regular AGameAWeek schedule well out of the window. OK, I'll worry about Jack Change It another day.

To take my mind off the horrors of "Jack Change It", I've instead decided to test another compiled edition of the game.

If player plays an 8, the next player has to miss their turn.. Unless they also have an 8, in which case they can play that, then the next player has to miss their turn. ... Currently trying to code that, and it is NOT easy!!

The "Jack Change It" game now more or less functions in a vague way..

I've tried to keep the "notifications" as subtle as I can, but .. obviously, they have to be noticeable! You can test them out in the Shoebox, by playing the Snakes and Ladders game!

As I sit and play the new "Party Mode" (Is that really the name for this?!) I'm starting to realise that there are still huge missing features in the ... feature!

Today I need to get a new scoreboard working in the Shoebox.

Alan asks.. Did you ever read up on Nandeck? even if you don't use it, it might inspire you on your own ideas as far as bulk generating cards and such. This would be for generating things like "Monopoly Knock-off" Property cards, "Top Trumps Knock-off" score based cards, "HeroQuest Knock-off" Inventory cards, and things like that. Don't worry.. No inspiration is necessary.

With a little imagery on the buttons, things look a lot more functional, now.
