As far as I've been able to stress-test, the save/load functionality of the new Shoebox framework should now function correctly!

I think that, for the most part, the Spider Solitaire is now roughly ready to go, but the Framework is barely finished at all! You can test Shoebox here. Spider Solitaire oughta be good to go.

Right, I'm probably going to ignore the audio issue, and plough ahead regardless. The audio tweaks can be made in the future. After all, this engine is 100% javascript, so everything is really easy to tweak afterwards, unlike most of my normal games that require recompiling and reuploading and then the player to realise there's an update, and redownload it.

The "Grab card from pile" and "Add card to pile" functionality now appears to be mostly functional. You can Test Shoebox Here.

Just to be extra sure that it'd work in the slightest, I added a quick test loader to Shoebox for the WordList functionality.

Over the next few days, I'll be doing various tests and things, as I try to determine the best methodology for the games. First up, Setting a grid size based upon a couple of values.

Scoring is now in, along with the typical swooshy points that flail across the screen.

In order to get SpikeDislike Classic (or is it Classic SpikeDislike?) to work as universally as I can, there's been a lot of Delta Timing tweaks, alongside a bunch of 3DS Scaling-Issue related stuff that had to be done.

This is a test. I'm not sure how compatible the new RSS feed is going to be, but if you'd like to try it out in your RSS Reader of Choice, then the url is rss.xml, which is a fairly obvious choice for rss feed urls, I think. The link has been added down at the very bottom right of the site, and is also tagged in the header, near all those bloomin' icons! Let me know how it goes.

Editing Themes

To edit 3DS Homebrew Themes, you'll need a decent editor. I use the editor "Usagi" You can download that here For reference, the version I use is v1.0.12.1 - I'm not sure if there are other (better or worse) editors available, as I found this one and was comfortable using it.
