I got 95% of Hoppy Bobby JSE finished yesterday, recorded a game trailer, screenshots, etc.

Ugh.. We're back to finger-pricks again.

The hoop game is coming along well enough, though I have had to cheat the physics a little to make it a bit more of a fair game than it otherwise would be.

With a skipped Browsercade, this week, and my "Time off", I'm managing to finish off all manner of little bits and pieces. I even took the time to finally make myself a little AGameAWeek Notification Noise using GarageBand. I might do a few more, and upload them to the site.. *shrugs*

I'm still marginally hopeful that I can make something fun from the car thing. Right now it's still extremely bland and dull, but I think with a few tweaks, I can manage to get something gamey out of it. I think!

Initial Thoughts: Looking at the screenshots during the development I felt the game is going to be a fun flying game like "Flapaddidle" but the use of a bird and the background are the only similarities between the 2 games. The gameplay is totally different game. In this game the bird can only fly or dive once per key press no flapping around.

If you eat a Pigeon's Treat, It could be bad, or it could be sweet.

Yesterday I recreated Hoppy Bobby in the Advent Calendar. It's not an amazing feat, but it is at least something. Other than that, I spent some time rejigging Neon Bike Championships for OUYA, and also sent PlayJam a copy so they can test it to see if it's Multiplayer code is any less crappy than JNKBombers was. I spent a lot of yesterday faffing about with the "Start" screen of SpikeDislike3. At first I intended to have a giant spike be in the center of the screen, and in fact that's what happened for quite a while, but .. I'm not sure why, but I decided to switch to circles instead.
