Got a nice background effect going in Petit Switch, last night. A parallax side-scrolling sky/ground thing, with trees and clouds swooshing by at high speed. Today I need to decide on what sort of game should go on top of that. I'm currently thinking some sort of fast paced shooter, a bit like Space Harrier, but only as a side-scroller, because I'm rubbish at pseudo-3d! Not sure. Find out tomorrow, I guess!

Over on DeviantArt, Ninjinister posted the following piece of artwork. Modelled after the "original" Platdude, from the early, early, early JNKPlat in QBasic, back in the days of DOS.

NeonPlat is playable, but certainly isn't sounding good right now!

A few days ago, @Amarjit_uk asked me if "Fuze4Switch" was worth going ahead with, and it occurred to me that it's been half a year since I last tackled the thing. Perhaps it'd had some nice fixes over that time? Maybe I should give it another whirl..
