Shoebox - Card Board
Blog
29th March 2020
(As in.. A board made of cards!)
Move around the Card Board and score points as you go.
Points are awarded when you land on an unturned card, based on the card's value (Ace = 1, Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13)

Board Game
27th March 2020
Right, I've had this idea bubbling about for a week or so.
It's almost fermented, but I think I should be able to figure out what's going to happen along the way.

OK, time to think of something for Petit Switch.
Get my head out of the horror-show that's currently clinging to everyone's minds, and try to focus on some gamey stuff.
But what game to do?

This is the alarmingly over-simplified sprite tool that I've been using to do all my Petit Switch games.
Don't expect anything magical!!
If you've a Switch, and have downloaded SmileBASIC, you can grab a copy of the tool using the Public Key...

Nope.. Can't call it that..
Bubble Pixie, then?
Will that do?!
Need to get some nice death-avoidance/maze type things going, but the basic control scheme seems to be working nicely.

I started the day off with an idea in mind.
I created a little sprite of a bubble, and formulated some kind of a plan for a game.

A fancy graphical doohickey turned into an action game!
Hop over all of the blue Zyndotz in order to clear the level.
Beware the Spikes, and watch out for that odd creature that shows up.

All of the letters in a single column can be changed to the same letter in order to create a different set of words.
Can you decide which column, and what letter should be used?
You can Print out a sheet, here or alternatively Play it in your Browser.

Blog
28th February 2020
I'd worked hard and fast to get everything done by Thursday, that by the time Thursday Night came around, I was all coded out.
I literally couldn't be bothered, at all.
Instead, then, I opened up YouTube and headed to Jazza's channel.

Neat Background
Blog
25th February 2020
Got a nice background effect going in Petit Switch, last night.
A parallax side-scrolling sky/ground thing, with trees and clouds swooshing by at high speed.
Today I need to decide on what sort of game should go on top of that.
I'm currently thinking some sort of fast paced shooter, a bit like Space Harrier, but only as a side-scroller, because I'm rubbish at pseudo-3d!
Not sure.
Find out tomorrow, I guess!

A few days ago, @Amarjit_uk asked me if "Fuze4Switch" was worth going ahead with, and it occurred to me that it's been half a year since I last tackled the thing.
Perhaps it'd had some nice fixes over that time?
Maybe I should give it another whirl..
