So far so good on the JNKBombers front. Most of Battle Mode's features are implemented as planned. Human players, AI players, Bombs, Shield, Coins, Shop and today I added a few cheap-as-chips themes into the mix for good measure. There's only 6 themes, but it's enough to keep it marginally interesting! Over the next couple of days, I'll keep tweaking away at the AI, and maybe add some new powerups, but otherwise I'm now at the point where I can say "Yeah, that's what I wanted to play!!" This week, I started out with a severely disturbing game idea, and ended up with a nice happy colourful arcade puzzle-type thing! Or to give it it's full name, "One of These Will Kill You!". This week's game is a semi-remake of sorts, but one which feels a little more complete than the original version. Originally created as a PlayMyCode game, this version adds bonuses, along with some more obvious gameplay mechanics. You should be able to follow along, this time around!

54 games. Last year I only managed about 30-odd, so I think that's pretty good going. Sure, it might not have truely actually been A Game "Per" Week, but I did at least keep the ratio up. With all the Mac stuff, I've not had a chance to do a new game. NOOoooooo!!!!!! I suppose I could rush something in the next 24 hours, but I'm much rather be playing with those extra trimming, and getting things a little nicer. First off, Gravity Bombs. A couple of days ago I posted my first test compilation of a Mac game. I asked for test-based feedback, and absolutely nobody responded, whatsoever. After the fun of a JNKPlat-based April, it's time to get back into the AGameAWeek spirit, and out of the silly ranty 2BeesInDePub mood that I'm currently in. This week I'm playing around with black holes. Except they're not black. The player has 4 coloured shooty bobs, and must fire missiles to clog up the not-black-holes. Not much this week, or at least, not as good as Microbes anyway! I decided to redo Raining Bombs, from a few weeks ago. The last one was for my Cookie phone, (which has since become a Viewty phone) and this one's for Windows. It looks more dramatic than it is! Two turrets that shoot each other over and over again. If you blast your enemy beneath the bottom of the screen, you win a point, and then it all starts all over again. No intro, no music, not even a "BANG!", more a subtle silent...
