2 days to go, and the Chess Game is finally starting to get a little more .. interesting!

The enemies aren't exactly swarming, yet, but things are finally starting to feel a little more organised than they were.
Pieces might appear to be moving completely erratically, but there's usually a reason for them to do what they're doing.
.. Sometimes!

As a result, the game's starting to get a bit more complex, as you're fighting off a multitude of different enemy pieces, trying to keep the path safe for your little king.

Things to do still include adding a wrapper so that things are endless, as well as trying to balance the game just enough that it doesn't get boring after too long.

And then I remembered that I still haven't added Mouse/Touch controls, yet.
