You know what might be handy?
If I had some kind of magic title generator, so I could type in the name of a game, and it'd go "Kapoof!" and magic me up a wide variety of possible titlecards.

I've had this idea in my head for a few weeks, but last night I felt the urge to start work on it.



I grabbed the laptop and started the new project. Line of text goes in, fonts sit in folder, and it plays around with random selections, choosing various colours, adding shadows and placing the text into a neat little box.



Of course, it's far from perfect, and it'll need a whole lot of tweaking to get it fully functional, but I really like the simplicity of the tool, and the output isn't half bad, either.



I figure with maybe a little GUI, and maybe some more effects than just a basic shadow, the tool could be quite useful for others, too..
So that's probably what I'm going to work on today.

It'll be a nice break from all the Level Editor gubbins!
