I remember back in April 2007 when I registered the SoCoder Twitter account, and added Twitter integration into the first version of the site's shoutbox. It'd gather tweets of SoCoder members that the SoCoder account was following, and post them onto the site's frontpage. DD complained, suggesting it was a pain having to go to some weird unknown website just to interact in a shoutbox.
