I think we can all agree that June's going to be full of scrappy little half-assed games, as I end up playing Mario Kart World way too much.

Meanwhile...

The ROGAlly is happily running SteamOS, and there's a couple of quirks, because of course there are.
First, No Man's Sky isn't picking up the controller, properly, so where there should be symbols/icons for the various buttons, there are instead ⚠️
And there's lots of ⚠️
They're all over the UI, and even pop up ingame when you highlight certain objects.
It feels a bit like the game's having some kind of major freakout.

I also haven't figured out how to do screenshots yet. It *should* be "SteamButton+Y", but .. either the button that I *think* should be a SteamButton isn't being recognised as SteamButton, or .. There is no SteamButton?
I'm not really 100% sure what it is.
It's also a right pain to bring up the keyboard, too.

At one point yesterday I had to grab a physical keyboard, it was getting that annoying.
Luckily my new Logitech Pebble Keyboard has multiple bluetooth device pairing, so that's handy! F1 to connect to the MacMini. F2 to connect to the SteamDeck.

Meanwhile, Meanwhile...

So I grabbed the Emulation stuff off the MicroSD card, copied to the MacMini, formatted the MicroSD card on the Rogally, then popped the MicroSD back onto the Mac so I could copy everything back.
OH NO!!!!
The MicroSD can no longer be recognised by MacOS!
Bloody hell..

320Gb of Roms'n'that on MacMini, and they have to go over to the MicroSD card that the MacMini can't read.
*ugh*
I grabbed my Sandisk External SSD, the one I use for my main backups. It had enough space, so everything got copied over to that from the MacMini, then that was plugged into the Rogally and everything got copied back over to the MicroSD
*phew*

So now I have a little tiny SD card full of old 8-bit and 16-bit games.
Cool!

...
Now I just need to figure out Linux enough to get Ludo running on it. I need to install GLFW, so.
um.

Maybe tomorrow..?

I'm sure I'll figure this stuff out, eventually.
