Oops, the day got away from me again.

For the past few weeks, I've been watching the show Manifest. One of the many shows that slipped by me. I think this time it was a case of "Oh, like LOST.. I bet that has a rubbish ending, seventy eight years later, too." so I never bothered getting into it.

Plane goes missing, then five years later re-emerges with the passengers not having a clue what happened.

The show's finished, now, and with only 4 seasons to sit through, I figured what the heck.
I checked the episode list, and the final episode does appear to be an end, so I started watching and have got quite into it.
I'm now about 5 episodes from the end, and have enjoyed the show so far.
.. Though it is getting a bit more religeousy, and less sci-fi, the further it goes.

This final season has 20 episodes, whilst past seasons have only had about 16 episodes per season. You would think that would be "Better", in a "More = more!" way, but if I'm honest, this final season seems to have more filler episodes. Events are happening, sure, but the pace feels a little bit more stretched out.

With everything coming to a very obvious conclusion, events oughta be paced a little faster, but it seems to be coming to a bit of a halt.
Hopefully the final few episode will ramp things up a bit, and there'll be a satisfying conclusion to it all.

Oddly, Season 3 is missing from Netflix UK. If you're watching it over here, you can see Season 3 on Sky because.. *shrugs*
Alternatively, as I did, you can purchase Season 3 on Apple TV. I wasn't going to do that, but I'd gotten to the end of Season 2 a couple of weeks ago, and felt it'd warranted the purchase, since I was enjoying it so much.

Rights, though... Am I right!?

If you DO choose to watch the series, be forewarned that Season 3 kicks off just as Covid's hit, so for the first few episodes everyone's oddly spaced apart, and there's a lot of phonecalls where group shots used to be. It's very odd watching a show and having that slap bang in the middle!! It finds its footing after about half of season 3, but it's rather odd seeing it.
Once I'm done (likely at some point today) I'd love to read up on the background stuff.
I think it might've been cancelled after Season 3, as Season 4 has the Netflix logo in the intro.
I wonder what happened there?
It'll be interesting to find out.
A shame TV shows don't seem to have much in the way of Extras on the various streaming platforms.
The Apple TV "Box Set" lists a couple of trailers, and something called "On the Set".. But the On the Set thing is just a minute long..?!

Which is to say, I didn't do much coding yesterday, and watched about 8 episodes of the bloomin thing, and am writing this hurriedly so I can go watch the ending.
