Yesterday was about as productive as you can expect after a night of the cat wanting in and out of the house at 4am.

The day was mostly spent trying my best to organise what September might entail, as well as setting up a couple of possible ideas for adding a Recorded element to this week's Recorded ALChoon. Honestly, trying to find a sound to fit a tune AFTER you've made the tune, really isn't easy to do!
As well as that, though, my mind and body were desperate to make up for the lack of sleep I'd had the night before, and I ended up having about 3 hours worth of a nap, in the middle of the day, which really doesn't help with the mountains of todo-list stuff I have to do.
But, at the end of the day, if I needed the rest, then I needed the rest.
On top of that, Michael Fernie suggested a possible game for Shoebox. At its heart, it seems like a good fit for Foldapuz, though it'd need much more space inside the sheet than the puzzle style would allow for. So I guess it's a Shoebox game, then?
But can I get it to generate puzzles with that much complexity, within the sort of timeframe that starting a Shoebox game would allow for?
It's really quite a puzzling sort of puzzle.
I'll have to put my thinking head on, for this one.

[Dave is standing in the middle of the room, wearing a VR headset and waving his arms around wildly. The room is a mess, with papers and empty Coke cans strewn about.]
Dave: Take that, you numerical rabbit! And that! Whammo!
[Green enters the apartment, carrying a stack of papers.]
Green: Dave, I've got the latest sales fig-
[Dave, oblivious to Green's presence, swings his arm wide and accidentally smacks Green across the face.]
Green: Ow! What the- Dave!
[Dave removes his VR headset, looking confused.]
Dave: Greenie? When did you get here? And why are you on the floor?
Green: [rubbing his cheek] I just walked in, and you walloped me with what I'm assuming is a giant virtual hammer!
Dave: Oh, sorry about that. I was just testing out our new BurrowOffice VR interface. You know, the one with the number rabbits and the giant mallet?
Green: [sighing] Yes, I'm all too aware of the rediculous idea.
Dave: But it's brilliant! Look, I've even added tweety birds that fly around when you bop the rabbits!
Green: People tend to type data inside their offices. You can't expect an office full of VR players thwacking giant hammers around.
Dave: It's fine, Greenie. They're [air quotes] virtual hammers!
Green: Sure didn't feel virtual just now.
[Scene Two]
Int. Dave's apartment - A few minutes later
[Green is sitting on the couch, holding an ice pack to his face. Dave is pacing excitedly, still clutching the VR controllers.]
Dave: Greenie, you don't understand. This is the future of data entry!
Green: The future of data entry is not assaulting woodland creatures, Dave.
Dave: But it's fun!
Green: Or co-workers.
Dave: And educational! It's like Watership Down meets Excel!
Green: That didn't turn out great for Hazel though, did it?
Dave: Oh, come on! It's not like I'm suggesting we use real rabbits.
Green: Dave, I'm not sure your idea of "sensible" is the same as everyone else's.
[Scene Three]
Int. Dave's apartment - Evening
[Dave is back in VR, while Green watches from the couch, looking exasperated.]
Dave: [swinging wildly] Take that, number 7! And you, decimal point!
Green: Dave, maybe we should focus on making BurrowOffice, you know, actually functional before we start adding VR rabbit assault.
Dave: [removing headset] But Greenie, this is what will make us millionaires! It's way better than subscribing to punched cards!
Green: Mmm... I prefer the punched card idea.
Dave: [gasping] You take that back! This is genius! It's like... like...
Green: Like one of your Coke-fueled fever dreams?
Dave: Exactly! Wait, no...
[Green stands up, heading for the door.]
Green: I'm going home, Dave. Try not to concuss yourself with your virtual mallet.
Dave: [calling after him] You'll see, Greenie! This'll be bigger than Magnum PI
[End credits roll, featuring Dave chasing VR rabbits with a giant mallet]
