There's not an awful lot to this toy, if I'm honest. It just stretches and "boings" back into place when you let go.
It's a very basic stretch, too, with nothing more than SetSize being used for the effect.
I certainly could've done with adding a nice proper stretch effect, where you could grab each letter and they'd all individually react in a jelly like manner.
But, hey, why not think of that as your homework!?!
Maybe you can add a bit of skew into the mix, too, to make things a bit more wibbly wobbly.
I'm not sure how well JSE can handle that all, if I'm honest.
[Green is stretching on his tiptoes, trying to reach a can of beans on the top shelf. Dave enters, looking amused.]
Green: (grunting) Come on, you stubborn little tin! Just a bit further...
Dave: (chuckling) Green, what are you doing? You look like you're trying to high-five the ceiling.
Green: (straining) I'm trying to get my beans, Dave. You've put them on the top shelf again!
Dave: (sarcastically) Gosh, really? It's almost as if I don't like you constantly stealing my beans.
Green: (determined) I will not be denied my beans, Dave. I've calculated the exact trajectory needed to knock them down.
Dave: (alarmed) Green, no! Remember what happened last time you tried to calculate trajectories?
[Scene Two]
Int. Dave's Kitchen - Afternoon
[Green is now precariously balanced on a wobbly stack of chairs, reaching for the beans. Dave looks on in horror.]
Green: (triumphantly) Almost there! Just need to stretch a bit more...
Dave: (panicking) Green, get down from there! You're too old for stunts like this.
Green: (dismissively) Don't worry, Dave. I've accounted for every variable. The chair-to-bean ratio is perfect.
Dave: (sarcastically) Because that's definitely a real thing.
Green: This would be a lot easier if they were Mexican Jumping Beans.
[Scene Three]
Int. Dave's Kitchen - Evening
[The kitchen is a mess. Chairs are scattered everywhere, and Green is covered in various food items. Dave is helping him up.]
Dave: (sighing) Well, that was... something.
Green: (dejectedly) I don't understand. My calculations were perfect.
Dave: Green, you can't apply binary mathematics to bean retrieval.
Green: (perking up) You're right! Maybe I need a different approach. What if we flood the kitchen with cola? The cans will float down!
Dave: (panicking) You are NOT using my coke for that.
Green: (ignoring Dave) Don't worry, Dave. I've got it all figured out. Now, help me set up this elaborate pulley system.
