What's wrong with me, lately!?!

Goodness me, that's so unlike me.
One thing that's tripping me up is that each morning for the past couple of weeks, I've been getting Suno to generate another of those silly JSE Album things.
I've now ammased a collection of 45 of these things, and will continue to post one every Wednesday until I get bored of doing it.

But doing that, as well as the daily pixelart, poetry, generating a Greenie/Derek each day, and keeping up with forums and social media and the like...
Clicking on a Publish button is the last thing on my mind, of late, it seems.

You can double check I'm still here by keeping an eye on my Mastodon account, where I'm posting the Pixelart each morning. If you see that, and not a post here, throw a giant fireball my way to wake me up!!

Meanwhile...

The quest for Lyrics continues, as I wrap myself in oodles of arrays and other chaotic bits and pieces.
The "Per-line of Lyrics" box is getting bigger and bigger with every little option that I'm adding to it, and it's messier than anything I've ever coded in my life!!!
It's really not looking great, right now, and I think I might end up having to rethink the whole panel. Neaten it up a bit, and make it less scary looking.

And under the shell, the code for that is really quite tragic!

..And that's before working on the whole tapping thing, and letting you tweak the taps without making that interface into even more of a horror show.

Meanwhile, Meanwhile..

The new iPads were shown off, yesterday, and I was incredibly tempted, hovering over a "£999 Buy Now" button for a good five or ten minutes before going ...
"You know what. My iPad's fine."

My iPad is the last iPad Air before they started putting the M-chips into them.
It's a 4th Gen iPad Air, from October 2021, and honestly I can't fault the thing.
Is it getting "slow"? Well, it can struggle with the current version of VidGen, and I need to reduce the output resolution to keep it going.
But otherwise it's doing just fine.
Shoebox, Browsercade, JSE. They all run just fine on it, and anything media based really doesn't need anything powerful at all.

As I sat hovering the mouse cursor over the Buy button, I came to the conclusion that, as nice as an all powerful brand new M4 based iPad Pro might be, even "just" a new M2 Air would be a significant increase in the power in my tablet.
.. But even then, what would I actually use all that power for?!

I've got the MacBook with me all day. That's doing oodles of stuff, and the iPad is more or less used for doodling pictures and things like that.
Since the switch to a MacBook, I've actually been using the iPad a lot less. I now use Ableton on the Mac, instead of KORGGadget on the iPad. I use Apple Motion instead of Luma Fusion on iPad.

*shrugs*

I've vowed that, should either my or Mum's iPad need replacing, THEN I might treat myself to an iPad Pro. But for now, it's not worth it, IMO.
