What I Didn't Do

This is it.
This is "The Big Game" idea that I had recently.

This is the game that I woke up with the idea of, scrambled to make a JSE version, and then went "Oh, crikey, this is a good game."

This is the game that spawned my reinvigoration to make a brand new iOS game.
I started building a new iOS framework, and actually managed to start putting this game together for iOS.

I was on a roll, and I knew this game would sell by the bucketload.
It's a great concept for a puzzle, it's also a nice relaxing pool game, and once you add a scoreboard, it's simply divine!!

And then Apple pretty much exploded last week, and my heart sank a million miles.
I don't have the time or energy to dedicate jumping through the bazillion new hoops that have been thrown in the face of indie game developers.

So I'm ending my quest for "All the Appstore Munniez" here.
I'm honestly heartbroken about this whole situation.
Stupid damn governments, ruining my play time.

Honestly, I'm just glad that this happened only a week or so into this project, because if I'd've been 6 months down the line and everything collapsed around me, I'd've been absolutely devastated by it.
Seeing everyone on Mastodon going through similar issues is frustrating as all hell.

Carry on, eh?

So here's the game concept, as is. There's TONS that I can do to this concept, and I'd love to get the chance to do that, but first I need to fix up Shoebox Of Games enough that I can put it in there, build on the idea, and give it the love that it so thoroughly deserves.

For now, you can enjoy the concept.
I think it's a cracking game, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Note : It's not 100% perfect, is extremely rough around the edges, and is still pretty much in the "built in a day, initial concept" state that I created it in. The physics aren't accurate and it will glitch on occasions. That'll all be fixed up once I make the "proper" version.

In the meantime, if anyone out there has an Apple dev-license, the ability to do this game justice, and thinks they can make a few bob out of this concept, hit me up with a royalty percentage and we can talk!!

The idea in my head is MUCH larger than this, and if you need an ideas-man to help finish this off, then I am definitely the guy to talk to about it.
