..Oh good grief, I'm not coding anything!!!

So I'm thinking about things that need doing, that need considered properly.
Things that I haven't really thought about properly.. Or rather, that I have, but haven't yet come up with a solution.

Here's an idea..

What if you had a sliding block puzzle, and you had swords and blank tiles.
You have a time limit or a limited number of moves, and must shuffle the tiles around so that the swords are top-most.
Any swords that can, will fly upwards towards the enemy. If there's a block in the way, it won't.



And what if the enemy had shields and hearts. They also have the same time/moves limit, and need to shuffle the shields to the top.



Then the flying swords come down the screen, and any of the swords would attack/lose a shield.. If there's no shields, and the sword hits a heart, the player loses a Health Point.

That kinds works, right!?
..
So I started coding that, and had a little play, but if you line up all your shields into a single line, then the other player has no viable way to NOT getting hit.
It's a very simple mechanic to always win, and that's kind of a shame, because ... Dang, that almost works!!!

I'm keeping that idea bubbling away.
Any suggestions will be added to the giant bubbling vat of insanity.
