Yesterday's experimental AGameAWeek Card Framework Template on the Switch ended up working really quite well, shrinking the size of SmileBoom's High-Res Card Pack from 340kb, down to Platdude's High-Res Retro Card Pack, at about 43kb.
Much smaller.

Now I have one slight issue with the engine.
.. How're you going to play any card games, with a thumbstick?

I mean, for something like a Video Poker game, it'd work reasonably well. Left+right, button to pick cards, that kind of thing.. But for a proper Solitaire game?
I sat playing Shoebox Solitaire for about an hour, last night, and.. Man it's a lovely smooth engine, isn't it?!
I can't imagine that working great on Switch, with buttons.

Maybe if I did wiggly-motion controls, and added touchscreen controls, too?
*shrugs*
I'll have to experiment.

All signs point to next week's SmileBASIC release being Klondike Solitaire.
