As I work on the GUI, it's all getting a bit of a mess, and as "themed" as those icons are, they're not a particularly good theme.

I spent last night wondering what sort of theme I should go for.
Do I aim for "More contemporary", or do I delve deeper into the Retro stylings of BASIC, and come up with some sort of 8-bit style graphical interface?
Hmmm.



So I drew a bunch of icons in this style, and .... I dunno if they suit it or not.
I think the overall look of the site would probably have to be tweaked to allow them to blend in.
I might also need to tone down the bright colours a bit, too!

Let me know what you think, anyway, and if you have any alternative ideas.
