Developments

So.. It wasn't Thursday, yesterday..
I kinda knew that, and yet I've been so totally focused on this week's AGameAWeek, that I completely forgot about all my Thursday Duties, such as creating the weekly SonicALly music video (above) and writing this week's Socoder Newsletter.
So, last night I stopped coding, and instead did all of that.
The video, in particular, took absolutely bloody ages. Over an hour and a half to render, and ended up at a whopping 1.25Gb in size! .. For 2.5 minutes of video!
I seriously need to look into finding better ways to do that, I reckon.

Meanwhile

A few minor tweaks to the engine, but most of yesterday's AGameAWeek work went into making more little minigames for the collection.
It's now up to 14 games, and I'm starting to wonder if I should maybe add a "Repetitive single game" mode, like WarioWare has.. Mostly because, whilst developing each minigame, that's how I'm playing them!
I might have a nosey in to how I can add that to the menu system, without making it a totally insane mess.

Daily Doodle : Testcard

Platdude stands in for Carole, who keeps complaining that she's getting too old for this job.

...
Already one of Platdude's most popular tweets!
As always, there's a 16:9 desktop available. (The Desktop link is always on the right hand side, on the Pixelart site.)

Since this is very very ratio:specific, however, I've also created a 4:3 version.
.. I'm not willing to spend all day making different ratios, though, so you'll need to be happy with those two!!

Misc..

I drew me a Testcard.
It features a clown.
When I put it on Twitter,
It got shared all around.
