I *think* I've solved my baffling audio issue, but will have to wait for TeamOUYA to review it, first.

Took an awful lot of Googling to find anyone who had remotely the same issue, mostly because when you google for "Android Audio issue" (or bug, or silence, or anything), you typically end up with pages of results all about users trying to play games, but they have their phone muted so everything's silent.
Barely anything is actually from the dev's point of view.
After a bit of digging, I found that Monkey uses something called SoundPool, and after a bit of googling of that term, (and silence, and mute, and bug, and ffs!) I eventually found someone who was having a vaguely similar issue, on more recent Android devices.
Suggestions on ways to fix it were given, and I tried my best to implement those.

Since I still can't actually test whether it works (because none of my own devices are suffering the same problem) I've sent it off to OUYA with my fingers crossed.

Of course, whether it actually worked or not will still be in doubt, since sometimes the games worked fine for the OUYA Testers, and other times they didn't.
So, when they next test it, and it's full of audio, does that mean..
A) My fix worked!
or
B) The day they tested it, it just happened to play the audio.

*sigh*
I wish I could say for certain.



.. Meanwhile, this little guy's game is only about 25% complete, so I'm going to have to work-work-work to get it done in time for Tuesday!
