I tried the game with Pang-like harpoons, but with four harpoons and not many balls, it all became much too easy to destroy all the balls.
I also, at one point, had up+down working on the crosshairs, but then it became easier to shoot the balls towards the top of the screen, thus completely avoiding any of the offshoots.
It was tricky to get this game feeling right, if I'm honest!
