The new framework is coming along nicely.

Slightly annoyingly, however, I appear to be putting it back exactly how it was before!
True, things are a little neater, this time around.
The code is less chaotic, and bits and pieces are more organised.
There's a lot less jumping about into various functions, and all my variables are well maintained.

In all, the new framework looks a little more presentable.

.. But it's not really any faster, and I haven't yet added any new functionality to it.
