Developments

Yesterday was a complete disaster..

-=-=-

Nah, yesterday went pretty well.
I finished off my Xmas card design, and sent it off to VistaPrint, where they'll hopefully not mangle it up before sending me 20 lovely cards.
Going to have to make use of my incredibly wonky handwriting, to finish them off. Eeek!

After that I spent some time with my framework, deciding on a new style for 2017.

.. And then came the horror show of yesterday.

After which, I started to rethink my situation.
AGameAWeek is working well, but constant (and I mean fucking constant) changes in the world of Android is making it incredibly difficult to keep up with all this, by myself.
This time last year, I was AGAIN working on the controller issues, as OUYA changed to Razer, and I had a different set of rules to work with.
To think that this same issue is happening just a year later, is absolutely shocking.

I keep wondering if this is a "Me sticking to my guns" issue, or a "FFS, Android, Sit still!" one.
It can't just be me dealing with these constant changes, surely!?

Bah, whatever.

Last night, I downloaded Unity, and will be spending most of today trying to wrangle the thing into an AGameAWeek workable framework.
I'll probably give it a week or so. If I haven't managed anything by then, then it'll be back to my broken Monkey framework, and trying to figure out the next step from there.

Bah, humbug!!
Merry Xmas!!

Daily Doodle : This is the Place

The guidebook says that this is the home of the best Cheesecake in all of PlatWorld.
Platdude is hopeful that they still have some Coffee flavoured ones.
