Or rather, restoring the backup.

Over a decade and a half's worth of coding, along with half-a-dozen websites, and all my photos.
They're all, currently, being transferred from the NAS drive to the new laptop... and have been doing since mid-Thursday.
It's taking forever to copy everything using Microsoft's age-old "SyncToy" app, but it's the app that I trust to keep files in their correct manner, and it's certainly keeping all my dates and things intact.
It also allows you to have a workable set of usable files as your backup, rather than just a massive compressed file that you can't actually use without restoring the complete backup.

It just takes forever to do the initial copy!
Once everything's copied across, it's fairly swift in it's standard operations. Run the app, give it ten minutes or so, let it copy the necessary files, and voila. You have a duplicate folder on your backup drive.
.. But when you're starting afresh, it's a whole different ballgame.

Finally made a start on "Memories of V.." yesterday. Should be up, tonight.. Maybe!
