TV

I watched the return of Crystal Maze, last night, on Channel 4.

Part of Channel 4's "Stand Up to Cancer" event, they brought back The Crystal Maze for a special Celebrity episode.
Rather than rebuild a giant expensive set, they opted to make use of the "Crystal Maze Experience" sets, which made for a rather cramped experience.
In most of the games, the contestants outside of the room could've happily interacted with the games, through the windows, since the rooms were so bloomin' small.
And Stephen Merchant, as good as he was at playing "A bit like Richard O'Brien", would probably have done better if he'd gone a completely different way. I was expecting odd and quirky like Wheatley, but he was trying too hard to be like Richard.

But it wasn't all bad. The vibe was there, and it was enough to make you wish for more.

.. Except maybe in a bigger set so it doesn't look so bloomin' cramped!

Developments

Meanwhile, I got Gamma U off the ground, and also started jotting down some ideas for "That game that I'm definitely not thinking about, honest."

Gamma U is more or less playable, but it definitely needs some (any!) AI in there to make it a bit more competitive.

On a gaming note, I also installed and had a quick play at Elite Dangerous on the XBone. It might take me a while to fully get to grips with it, but the controls were at least designed well enough to be usable, which is nice.

Daily Doodle : Twins

Platdude is accompanying one of his friends, who had an appointment for a scan.
It's the first time he's seen such little Platizens.

Misc..

I need to stay focused.
Stay ahead of the game.
No bouncing balls, yet.
The Collexion's my aim.
