Yesterday I thought "Hey, I should try that.."

Events
	A few more early morning tweaks to the Dice Game.
10-12	Most of the game is now at a playable point, but it still needs some kind of "Risk/Reward" mechanic. Hmmm.
12-2	Paid for the server to keep going for the next 6 months, but GoDaddy's Checkout script seems to have buggered up. Grrr. Can't get Tech Support without having to phone up.
2-4	To take my mind off the GoDaddy bollocks, decided to play with Mandelbrot for a while.
4-6	Mandelbrot takes a while to render!! Still waiting on the video to finish rendering. No idea how far it's done, since it's broken my percentage display! I sure do hope it's rendering properly!!
6-8	Still waiting for that darn video. I should never have started it. Watched some to. Saturday night TV sucks! I'd rather be coding!
8-10	Fractal gave up. Tried again with smaller settings and it managed to do the whole thing in 30 minutes! D'oh!
	A complete waste of a day! Stupid fractals
	Productivity : 2/5

So, that didn't go very well, then!

I basically wanted to try making a little fractal generator, rendering a great big zoom video, and making it next week's ALChoon video.
I set it off rendering a giant 1920x1080x30fps video, and it took about 8 hours to generate 50 seconds of video!
Fooook!

During that time, my laptop was completely unusable, and so I spent some time trying to do various bits and pieces of music, none of which proved to be very fruitful.
In many ways, then, I completely wasted most of my Saturday.

A shame, but.. Meh, whatever..

Today, I'm going to be (somewhat stupidly) playing with the fractal generator, trying to create some sort of lovely big giant fractal generator.
It's probably a really dumb idea!!

Only in NeonLand do they do that!
