Developments


This week's game is certainly a lot more "gamey" now.

Switching from Mouse control to a regular player character has made a drastic difference to how the game flows.
Next I need only draw all the art/sprites/etc for the game, add music and sound effects, and then get things flowing smoothly.

It currently takes about 7 or 8 frames to generate a level, but that's currently all done inside one "broken" frame.
Instead, I need to strip the generator out, and change it to being a per-frame, gradual build. Should *hopefully* not break whilst I'm doing that.
Thankfully I've got a test mode for testing whether levels are working, which I'll be using to ensure everything's building the way it oughta.

Platdude's doing some more ironing.
He's currently ironing his Chef pants.
I wonder if he's planning on baking a cake!?

Sometimes it feels like
There's too much to do.
When I'm making six games
But am focused on two.
