Developments

After a game's release, half the fun is watching the aftermath, and scrawling the internet for comments.

On this occasion, however, I pretty much know what's coming.
Invisible Munky 2 isn't a game that I'm expecting to be popular, or fondly remembered, (it hasn't thus far, anyway..) so any comments and feedback will be minimal.

And yet I wait, and I watch, and I hunt the net to try to find ANYTHING to do with the game. But. Nope.
The WorldWide Web has fallen mostly silent.
Invisible Munky might as well have been Invisible Dead Dodo for all the attention it's getting.
Aw well, what can you do?

I did find ONE comment over on TouchArcade. The person missed the freebie edition, and wanted to know how the controls were.
.. Nobody answered.
Bah, humbug!

Daily Doodle : The Whole Carrot?!

Platdude's trying out a new recipe, but is pretty sure he's supposed to have sliced this carrot first.
He's double checking..

Mailbag

Today's mail comes from WeeWillyWinkie, who is probably still in his nightgown.

Does the invisible Munky prefer to throw rocks or coconuts? Have you ever given him coconuts to try and throw?

WeeWillyWinkie

I imagine that, since he gathers bananas, he'd similarly want to gather coconuts and keep them somewhere safe. As a result, I'd expect that he prefers to throw rocks, as he'd be worried about too many bashes to his coconuts resulting in some kind of permanent damage.

It might be a fun idea for a future sequel, though, to pick something up at the start and try to protect it throughout the whole level. In fact, during development of IM2 I did try out only having one single rock in each level, but it proved a bit too tricky, especially in those rare ('ish) occasions when the rock inexplicably flies through the landscape! Ooops!

If you'd like to stuff my mailbag, you can do so right here, at https://bit.ly/AGAW_Mail. Send comments, questions, game ideas, thoughts and more, and they'll probably turn up here, eventually.
