Gosh, they did that half awfully quickly!

And they're already here for part two!!

-=-=-

Yesterday was all about the rear of the house, removing the old sliding doors and replacing them with nice big french doors.
My bedroom window got done, and then they carried on around to the side to the bathroom window, before doing Mum's bedroom window at the front.

Today's going to be the BIG job.. Destroying and then reconstructing the porch at the front of the house.
Can that all be done in a day?!
Who knows.
But given how well they did, yesterday, I'm fairly confident that they'll at least manage to not bugger things up!

They're also aiming to do the living room window, and the kitchen window and door, too.
That's an awful lot to do, today.
I wonder if they'll get it all done.

(There's currently a little bit of swearing coming from the porch!)

Meanwhile...

I finished off the ALChoon yesterday, and that went well enough.
I have a melody in my head for next week's choon, but how well will it go.. Who knows!! Usually when I have an idea beforehand, and try to aim for it, I tend to miss the mark by a long shot.
Kinda the same with gamedev, if I'm honest.
Very rarely do I have a plan in mind beforehand, or if I do, it usually ends up being completely and utterly obliterated by the time the game's finished, and ends up as something completely different.

... Take "A game where you're mining", for example.

That might end up looking a bit like dig-dug, but with a digging dog as the main character.

I dunno, though....
I'd have to animate a dog..
...
!

Might end up drawing a robot dog or something.
Maybe I should just rip-off K-9..?

Collect bones, avoid moles, keep surfacing for snacks..
I dunno, there's a vague idea for a game there, I think.
We'll see, I guess.
