Stupid iOS!
"Alert" says the debugger in XCode. And that's all. Quite what that means, I've no idea. Could literally be anything. Views 100, Upvotes 22

AHA!!!
.. Can't show you any of the results, yet, though, as the entire framework's graphical stuff is currently all commented out, until I convert everything from GLFW to GLES. But that's a VERY important step in getting the thing up and running on iOS. Previous attempts have spewed out thousands of Linker errors, but now I'm fairly confident that I vaguely might maybe know, roughly, what I might have been possibly doing wrong!! Views 56, Upvotes 19

2018 Framework
8th February 2018
I spent a bit of time looking into Pico-8, yesterday, (Spurred on by SkyBerron posting this teeny weeny version of SpikeDislike) but it's a wildly different language than I'm used to.
Lots of little bytesized bits of code, and a methodology that I'm just not used to. I'm sure that, with a little more poking and prodding, I might learn to code well in the language, but for now I think I'd much rather be sticking with my new C++ Framework. But the bug is already starting ... Views 217, Upvotes 21

Teensy Tiny Dislike
Blog
7th February 2018
Over on the Lexaloffle forums (!?), SkyBerron has done an even smaller version of SpikeDislike than my CPC 10-Liner version, from the other day.
Managing to cram all the playability into just 278 characters, the game's missing even more of the combo system than my 10 liner edition. It's not easy, adding combos, when the code is that cramped! Head on over, give it a play, and be sure to give it a like whilst you're there. Views 118, Upvotes 21

Yeay!
Thanks to all for testing. Rychan - I see the hitbox detection has been improved somewhat also which is cool A little more forgiving, this time. The original game was a little "too" mean when it came to bird vs flame hits! Views 55, Upvotes 9

Pico-8?
Blog
5th February 2018
In a reply to yesterday's Ideas post, Michael Adcock (@adcockm) suggested I look into Pico-8 development.
He then (via Twitter) brought up the fact that I couldn't do it with my new C++ framework, so the idea of attempting it is a little less appealing. Views 97, Upvotes 16

This Tuesday we're kicking things off slowly.
Each Tuesday through February, I'll be adding to Flappadiddle-Doo, to bulk it up beyond the original concept, and fixing up any quirks in my new Framework along the way. But once we hit March, I'll be heading into the regularly unplanned insanity of AGameAWeek. Views 303, Upvotes 22

Continuing my trek through the Blog, (fixing old broken links, adding references to associated games, etc) I'm now up to page... 150! Out of 5000+
As an example of how the Wiki will be grown, the Wiki page for Alien Deathmatch 2 is now nice and populated with just links to various blog posts. I'll also need to add in elements that are on the game's release page, but AD2's actually surprisingly sparse, as far as that goes. Once I've sifted through all the pages, adding ...
