I spent near enough all day, yesterday, fighting the fight with Emscripten.

Last week, I almost got it working, but with a few major issues.
Over the course of yesterday I managed to get a fairly significant amount of the functionality up and running.

The games work, the audio works (including pitch-shifting!!), and I even managed to get the games running in a nice window that doesn't pan/zoom when iOS Touch interactions take effect. (This took bloomin' ages to solve, btw!)

So, all was good, but why wasn't the touchscreen of the iPad interacting with the game?

Hmm..

I attempted to google for results, but BOY was it an effort trying to find anything about it. As much of a Google-Fu expert as I claim to be, this was proving to be a bit of a nightmare.

In the end, I gave up with online help, and instead opened up the exported javascript file and scrawled through that.
I've found multiple references to SDL, but don't really have any idea whether turning that on will break the current abilities that the html version has. Today I guess I'll be learning that!

If I find anything, I'll be sure to post it online, probably over at SoCoder.

My journey with Emscripten appears to be nearing completion, but there are still more issues to deal with. How do I load and save scores/progress, and possibly even JNKPlat Levels?! Hmmm..

If you'd like to play On a Space Shooting Trail in your browser, it's most working, here, but without any saving, no online scores, and really doesn't like iOS!
